Dental model representing typical natural adult dentition:

Model base made from a hard thermosetting plastic material. Upper and lower jaws are occluding in a stable intercuspidation

with natural 32 screw-in model teeth made of hard thermosetting plastic material. A threaded metal back plate allows screw

fixation or optional fixation with magnetic mounting plates in frasaco phantom heads.

Occlusal anatomy corresponding to an adolescent patient free of any abrasion (15 to 20 years old)

Intercuspidation:

• Anterior relationship: deep overbite, initial anterior and canine guidance

• Premolar to first molar region: tooth relationship = 1 : 2

• Second and third molar region: tooth relationship = 1 : 1 distally

Gingiva:

Elastic, removable gingiva based on the anatomy of a 40-year-old patient.

Main use:

Exercises in preventive and conservative dentistry and prosthodontia emphasizing functional occlusion.
